Lure Tuning Instructions
All McGrath minnow lures are individually tank tested prior to packaging to ensure the lure works correclty straight out of the packet. Lures can sometimes become out of tune after snagging or landing a large fish. To tune a McGrath minnow lure, correct by cautiously bending the pull point to the opposite side as illustrated until the lure swims straight.
McGrath Lures should be used with a small swivel or by tying the line directly to the split ring attached to the pull point. Using a large swivel will cause the lure not to perform or swim in its intended manner.
Never tie the line directly to the pull point without using a split ring as the pull point is likely to cut the line when in use.
